Quick guide to shipping 13-50 cards.
Materials
You’ll need the following:
- Penny sleeves
- A team bag
- A slot box
- An envelope, approximately 5 ⅞” x 9 ⅝”
- Tape - ideally packaging tape
Steps
- Construct the slot box - my first looked pretty cursed but the second was easy. There's a guide here.
- Insert high value cards into penny sleeves - don’t force anything but most can hold three cards.
- Insert the cards into a team bag, with high value cards in the center.
- Insert the team bag into the slot box.
- Close the slot box and tape the edges so they are firmly sealed.
- Address the envelope and confirm it matches the order.
- Insert the slot box and seal the envelope.
Tips
- Slot boxes enable shipping many cards without paying $10 extra for a package.
- Postage needs 2 stamps, or 3 stamps at 100g (around 40 cards).
- The maximum depth before a letter becomes a package is 20mm - don’t overfill slot boxes or ship them loosely sealed.
